From the Turbo Fan series, the Knowledge OTG Turbo Fan snow goggles by Smith are designed to fit Over The Glasses and feature a two speed, micro-electronic fan to keep your glasses and the goggle fog free. A Carbonic-X lens with TLT Optics provides optical clarity and an articulating outrigger strap positioning system keeps the goggles comfortably in place with or without a helmet. A floating foam membrane that eliminates eyeglass temple pressure, straps that adjust quickly, and a flexible urethane frame complete the package.

What's the difference between a spherical and cylindrical lens? A spherical lens is molded to focus on a point (your eye) and a cylindrical lens is contoured to focus on a line (the line of your eye). A cylindrical lens is easier to make and therefore less expensive while the spherical lens is more optically correct but is more expensive to make.
What is a Carbonic-X lens? It's Smith's proprietary, silicon based, hard coated lens that provides excellent scratch and abrasion resistance.
What is TLT? TLT stands for Tapered Lens Technology. The curve of a lens distorts light as it passes thru. By tapering the lens at just the right places, Smith can offset the natural distortion caused by the curve making light pass thru without distortion. The result is distortion-free, what-you-see-is-what-you-get optics.
What is a Vaporator Lens? It's Smith's process of robotically cutting and bonded together the lens sheets to eliminate lens delaminating - the number one cause of between-the-lens fogging.
